Birch Tree Commission!

So fun seeing Kyle and Kim Gillespie at the show tonight! The show hosted an event called Art After Dark and so kept the doors open until 8 pm. Collectors mingled with all the artists while drinking wine and sampling food on every aisle.

Kyle and Kim flew in for the weekend and came to the show to see me. They first saw my work in San Francisco when they were walking past Chloe Gallery and saw one of my paintings in the window. They walked another block before turning around to take a second look. That second look ended up becoming their first art purchase! Tonight, they commissioned their 3rd painting, 48x36 "Morning Trail." They have a cabin that looks very much like this piece with the lake, trail and white birch trees. Kyle plans on hanging it in his office entry. 🧡🧡🧡
