Aspen/ Birch Painting headed to Chicago!

George and his daughter Elena stopped in for their annual visit to the art show. George has built up quite a collection of my paintings over the years and usually finds a piece either for himself and wife Carol or for his daughters! Today, he chose "A Summer's End" for his home in Chicago and Elena picked out a post-palette heart for her daughter's bedroom. Loved seeing these two again! Always fun reconnecting with my favorites. ❤️ #JensArt

Desert Beauty encapsulated!

Feeling the desert beauty today! Just finished up this new Post-Palette creation, 48x24 "Desert Glory." I used little bits of palette remnants to build up the many layers of a saguaro cactus. It's like putting a puzzle together! I have to hunt for the right pieces. But the end result is so colorful and unique! 🌵🌵🌵

“Upwards” Aspen Commission!

Jack, from Raleigh North Carolina, found me a couple of years ago here at the art show and ordered one of my vertical Maroon Bells pieces for his stairs. Today, he added to his collection with a 60x48 commission! I'm going to paint him one of my popular "upwards" aspen piece.
